Storm Sewer Connection in Cedarvale Park
What Work is Taking Place?
In preparation for the construction of Cedarvale Station, several storm and sanitary sewers must be reconfigured prior to the commencement of the support of excavation works. As part of one of these relocations, an existing connection must be enabled in one of the storm sewers at Cedarvale Park.
Crews will occupy a small portion of the park in the vicinity of an existing manhole (see picture below) in order to conduct the works.

Upcoming Sanitary Sewer Connection at Eglinton Station
What Work is Taking Place
To prepare for the construction of Eglinton Station, crews have been relocating existing water mains and sanitary sewers in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue and Yonge Street. To complete this work, crews need to connect the new sanitary sewer with the existing sewer located at the northwest corner of the Yonge-Eglinton intersection. Read more »
Hydro Utility Relocation for the Eastern End of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Line
Crews will relocate and upgrade existing overhead hydro utilities between Birchmount Road and Kennedy Station in preparation for construction of the surface section dedicated transit lanes (guideway), the Kennedy Portal, and the Kennedy LRT Station. Existing overhead and underground hydro lines will be relocated from the north side of Eglinton Avenue East to the south side of Eglinton Avenue East.
Enbridge Gas Distribution Line Relocation Victoria Park Avenue & Eglinton Avenue East
What Work is Taking Place?
Enbridge Gas Distribution (Enbridge) is relocating a gas main in the Eglinton Crosstown LRT corridor on Eglinton Avenue East between Victoria Park Avenue and Saddle Ridge Drive.
Timing
- Work will start at the end of June 2017 and will last for approximately four weeks.
- Work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
- Work could be rescheduled due to weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances.

Enbridge Gas Distribution Line Relocation near Kennedy Station
What Work is Taking Place?
To accommodate the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, Enbridge Gas Distribution (Enbridge) is required to relocate a gas line on Eglinton Avenue East (between Kennedy Road and Midland Avenue) and on Kennedy Road (between Treverton Drive and Eglinton Avenue East).
These pipelines are integral to Enbridge’s gas system and must be re-routed to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of natural gas to customers in the Greater Toronto Area. Read more »

Preparatory Road Works on Eglinton Avenue East for Surface Stops
The surface section of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT will run down the centre of Eglinton Avenue East in dedicated transit lanes at street level. To prepare for the construction of the surface section, crews are working to get the roadway ready.
Setting up the construction work zones in the roadway will require changes to how car and truck, bus, and pedestrian traffic flows along Eglinton Avenue East and the associated intersections where future stops will be located. Read more »
