Upcoming Traffic and Pedestrian Changes at Forest Hill Station (Bathurst and Eglinton)

The next phase for support of excavation at Forest Hill Station includes piling and shallow excavation on the north side of Eglinton Avenue, west of Bathurst Street. The work zone that has been on the south side of Eglinton will shift to the north side. Traffic which has been flowing on the north side of Eglinton will shift to the south side. Read more »

What Work is Taking Place?

In early August,  starting at approximately 9:00 p.m., crews will make changes to the existing traffic staging at Bayview Ave and Eglinton Ave E to accommodate the next stage of shoring in the roadway. In early August, the traffic conditions at Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East will change. There will be lane reductions on Bayview Avenue as well as new turn restrictions at the intersection. Read more »

Upcoming Works at Eglinton Station: Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Investigations

What Work is Taking Place?

To prepare for upcoming shoring activities, crews will be conducting Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations along the right-of-way on the south side of Eglinton Avenue from Cowbell Lane to Holly Street. Pedestrian access along Eglinton Avenue East from Cowbell Lane to Holly Street will be maintained.

Crews will drill bore holes and use a hydro-vacuum truck within the public right-of-way to determine the location of the underground utilities and the ground conditions around the intersection for design purposes.  Read more »
