CP Bridge Rehabilitation

What Work is Taking Place?
Crews will be performing bridge rehabilitation works at the CP Bridge (east of Leslie Street) as early as August 24, 2020 for a period of 13 weeks. A working platform will be set up at the bridge in advance of the activities. Crews will be removing rust, painting, replacing structural steel elements and performing concrete repairs.

North and South Platform Shelter Installation at Birchmount Stop - August 24, 2020

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will install permanent shelters at the Birchmount Stop north and south platform. North platform installation will begin as early as August 24, 2020 for three days and the south platform will begin on August 27, 2020 for three days.

Upcoming Concrete Pour at Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East - Monday August 17, 2020

 

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday August 17, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a concrete pour within the work zone of the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of Mount Pleasant Road. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and take approximately five (5) hours to complete.

THESL Pole Relocation - Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview and Kennedy Road - Mid-September, 2020

 

Crews will be relocating Toronto Hydro-Electric System (THESL) poles to their permanent positions along Eglinton Avenue East between Ionview Road and Kennedy Road. Work will be completed in sections and is expected to begin mid-September through to late October 2020. All works are in support of the construction of the Crosstown LRT tracks and guideway (dedicated transit lane) in the centre of Eglinton Avenue East.
