Tie-Back Drilling – Centre Shoring Wall (Weekends)

 

What Work is Taking Place? 

Crews will be working day shifts over the weekends in the rail corridor, performing tie-back drilling on the East (CP Rail) half of the corridor, for center shoring wall construction. This work will involve the use of a tie-back drill rig and other similar equipment.

Hours of Work

  • The hours of work are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm on January 20, 21, 27, & 28, February 3 & 4.
  • There is no night work expected to occur.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

 

What to Expect

  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect to hear noise and feel vibrations similar to those experienced with train traffic.
