What Work is Taking Place?

Crews are working in the rail corridor, north of the Eglinton Avenue Bridge, completing piling work for the centre shoring wall. Crews will also be conducting preparatory work for the relocation of the CP Mainline Track.  This work involves grading the track bed in the area where the tracks will be realigned, track bed leveling and shifting of the GO Transit W1 track to the correct alignment and cutting over-/shifting of the existing track.

  • This work will occur between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily. 
  • Please note that work could be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect to hear noise related to the equipment used to level the ground and the track work.
