What Work is Taking Place?
On April 14 and 15, 2018, crews will be performing hydro utility relocation work on Mt Pleasant Road, north of Eglinton Avenue East. Crews will break-out the existing hydro duct bank infrastructure and place the hydro cables into the new duct bank infrastructure. This work will occur in both the north and southbound lanes of Mt Pleasant Rd. Therefore, Mt. Pleasant Rd. will be closed between Roehampton Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East for the duration of this work. Eglinton Ave E will remain open.

Hours of Work
- Mt Pleasant Road will be closed from Saturday April 14 at 7:00 a.m. until Sunday April 15 at 5:00 p.m.
- Permitted construction hours are 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday to Sunday
- Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather
What to Expect
- Mt Pleasant Rd will be closed between Roehampton Ave and Eglinton Ave E
- Vehicle traffic will be rerouted
- Pedestrian and property access will be maintained
- Flag persons will be present to assist with traffic control
Traffic Details
- Traffic lanes on Mt Pleasant Rd will be rerouted around the closure
- Eglinton Ave E will remain open
- TTC buses will be detoured – please look for signage
