What Work is Taking Place?
On Thursday, March 24 and Monday March 28, 2022, crews will be performing overhead power cable installations at Fairbank Station. A power outage is required to facilitate this work. Power service will be restored upon completed of the work. Please carefully read the temporary power outage details below.
Power Outage Details:
- On Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 4:00 p.m.
- The following properties will be affected for approximately one (1) hour:
- 1848 and 1850 Eglinton Avenue West
- The following properties will be affected for approximately fifteen (15) minutes:
- 1854, 1856, 1858, 1860, and 1862 Eglinton Avenue West
- The power outage may be longer or shorter than expected and may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
- On Monday, March 28, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until approximately 10:00 a.m.
- The following pretties will be affected for approximately two (2) hours:
- 1807, 1808, 1818, and 1820 Eglinton Avenue West
- The power outage may be longer or shorter than expected and may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
What to Expect
Power service will be unavailable while this work takes place. Noise from construction activity can be expected.
HOURS OF WORK
- The power outage will begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. and last until approximately 4:00 p.m.

UTILITY INTERRUPTIONS
- On Thursday, March 24, 2022, power service will be unavailable for approximately 1 hour between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- 1848 and 1850 Eglinton Avenue West
- On Thursday, March 24, 2022, power service will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- 1854, 1856, 1858, 1860, and 1862 Eglinton Avenue West
- On Monday, March 28, 2022, power service will be unavailable for approximately 2 hours between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
- 1807, 1808, 1818, and 1820 Eglinton Avenue West
