What Work is Taking Place?

From Monday, June 22 – Friday June 26, 2020 crews at Mount Pleasant Station will work overnight to install dewatering wells on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East between Mount Pleasant and Taunton Roads. This work requires rolling lane closures. Eglinton Avenue East will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction, while this work takes place. Crews will reopen the lane as soon as it is safe to do so. 

Work is expected to take place from 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m. During this time, residents can expect noise from construction equipment, including trucks, a hydro-vacuum, drill and saw cutter. Crews will endeavour to minimize disruption as much as possible. Traffic control personnel and/or a paid duty officer will be present while this work takes place.

Monday, June 22 – Friday June 26, 2020

Work is expected to take place between 8:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

This work may take longer or short than expected.

Traffic Details

Travelling Smart during Construction

Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
