What: Crews will be working on the Eglinton Ave West road decking near at the launch shaft.
Where: On Eglinton Ave West near Allen Road between Flanders Road and Everden Rd,
Why: Construction on the launch site east of the Allen is well underway to prepare for the second tunnel drive of the tunnel boring machines. The site will remain a construction zone for multiple years through various stages of the project. Road decking on Eglinton Avenue West has been installed over the launch shaft. Crews will be performing work on the decking overnight.
When: The work will start Wednesday, December 10th 2014 at 10 p.m. and continue until Thursday, December 11th 2014 at 5 a.m.
Traffic Details
In order to perform the work, only one lane of traffic will be open. As such, eastbound and westbound traffic will alternately use the one lane. Paid Duty Officers (PDOs) and flagmen will control the flow of traffic. There may be delays associated with this work as you travel through the area.
