What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Wednesday, December 14, 2022, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform traffic line painting works at the intersection of Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Rolling lane closures are required to facilitate this work. Periodically, Eglinton Avenue East and Mount Pleasant Road will be reduced to one lane only at the intersection, with traffic alternating in each direction. This work is expected to begin at 10:00 p.m. and will take approximately five (5) hours to complete. 

What to Expect

Overnight noise from construction activities can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection.  Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present, while this work takes place. 

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Wednesday December 14, 2022.
• This work is expected to begin at 10:00 p.m. and will take approximately five (5) hours to complete. 
• This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Rolling lane closures are required to complete this work.
• Periodically, Eglinton Avenue East and Mount Pleasant Road will be reduced to one lane only, with traffic alternating in each direction.

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS 

• Short-term pedestrian rerouting may be in effect.
