What work is taking place?

As part of the ongoing GO transit expansion at the rail corridor, crews will begin excavation works at the Main Entrance of Mount Dennis station as early as Tuesday October 15th. Work will be ongoing for 24 hours a day until Friday October 18th. Work involves the use of an excavator to dig the new LRT and pedestrian tunnels.

 

Hours of Work

  • Crews will be working as early as Tuesday October 15th ongoing for 24 hours until Friday October 18th, 2019.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

 

What to Expect

  • This work does not involve heavy noise or vibrations.
  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect to see construction lighting and crews using an excavator.

  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage.
