What Work is Taking Place? 


On Wednesday, August 8 and Thursday, August 9, 2018, crews will be installing tie-rods beneath Eglinton Avenue West, between Dynevor Road and Dufferin Street.  To perform this work, Eglinton must be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction.  To minimize the impact to TTC and road users, this work will be performed overnight.


Hours of Work

  • Date: Wednesday, August 8 and Thursday, August 9, 2018
  • Time: 7:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.


What to Expect

  • Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane only between Dynevor Road and Dufferin Street
  • Traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will alternate in each direction during this work
  • Noise from construction activity can be expected
  • Site lighting can be expected
