What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Tuesday, February 22, 2022, crews at Mount Dennis Station will begin working extended construction hours to facilitate track cuts and rail and platform construction. This work will take place in the Railway Corridor Between Ray Avenue and Black Creek Drive. Construction will take place on a 24-hour basis, Monday-Saturday, for approximately six (6) months. Occasionally, crews will be required to work extended hours on Sunday to facilitate specialized activities. Crews will endeavor to minimize disruption as much as possible, while the work takes place.

 

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including excavation, grading, and backfilling. can be expected. Construction lighting is required and will be positioned away from residential properties.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Tuesday, February 22, 2022, for approximately six (6) months.
  • This work is expected to take place on Monday – Saturday on a 24-hour basis.
  • Occasionally, crews will be required to work on Sundays to facilitate specialized activities.
  • Work may take longer or shorter than expected.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.
