What Work is Taking Place?

Crews will be installing structural steel to form the new pedestrian staircase on the south side of Eglinton Avenue East at Leslie Street. Work will begin as early as October 21, 2020 and continue for three weeks. To accommodate these activities, a section of the   E.T Seton Park   north parking lot will be closed. Access for pedestrian, cyclists and vehicles will be maintained.

What to Expect

Crews will be installing structural steel to form the new pedestrian staircase. A crane will be installed at the work zone to lift materials into place.

Hours of Work

  • Work will begin as early as October 30, 2020 and continue for approximately one (1) month.  
  • Work may occur from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven (7) days per week, Monday through Sunday.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Details 

  • A closure of a section of the E.T Seton Park north parking lot will be implemented for these works.
  • There will be no changes to the traffic configuration on Eglinton Avenue East.
  • There will be no changes to the existing pedestrian routes.

Transit Information

  • There will be no changes to the existing TTC bus routes or stops for this work.

Other Information

  • Due to the nature of this work, at times there may be noise around the work area.
