What Work is Taking Place

 As part of construction of the new Photography Drive Bridge, crews will begin piling activities for the new south abutment. Activities will take place between the station box and the bottom of the slope excavation on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West.

Hours of Work

  • Wednesday November 1, 2017 to Wednesday November 15, 2017
  • This work will occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily, but the contractor has the ability to work up until 11 p.m. and on weekends if required.
  • If overnight work is required, we will notify the public in advance and monitor activities throughout.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

  • Nearby businesses and residents can expect vibration and noise from a diesel hammer pile driving rig, a mobile crane and other construction equipment.

Traffic Details

  • The eastbound curb lane on Eglinton Avenue West from Weston Road to Black Creek Drive will remain closed.

Pedestrian Details

  • A protected walkway has been provided for pedestrians on the south side of Eglinton.
