Utility relocation and headwall construction for the future Avenue Station and Laird Station are complete. To thank the community for their patience during the first phase of construction, two events will be held. Look for the Metrolinx tent and the Crosstown team as we hand out warm autumn drinks and treats from local merchants!

THE UPPER VILLAGE NEIGHBOURHOOD – Health & Wellness with a Side of Indulgence
The Upper Village BIA covers the area on Eglinton Avenue West between Allen Road and Bathurst Street, adjacent to one of the city’s most beautiful neighbourhoods – Forest Hill.
Established in 1983, it is currently chaired by Dr. Alan Pintaric, a chiropractor who runs Health Solutions. Dr. Pintaric provides his patients with complete chiropractic care, including acupuncture and massage therapy. Read more »

Eglinton Crosstown Open House at Leaside
On Tuesday, March 18, Councillor John Parker hosted an Open House about the Eglinton Crosstown Project.
At Leaside Gardens, Councillor Parker was joined by staff from the Crosstown project and Toronto Transportation Services, to discuss Eglinton Crosstown construction work progressing into Leaside, with work on the east tunnel and Laird and Bayview stations set to begin.

Eglinton Crosstown Update – Chaplin Station
The Eglinton Crosstown is a 19 kilometre light rail transit line that will run along Eglinton Avenue through the heart of Toronto, with an underground central section. The line will connect Mount Dennis in the west to Kennedy Road in the east, the new service will be up to 60 per cent faster than bus service today. Read more »
