What work is taking place?

 As part of the ongoing works at Keelesdale Station, crews will be delivering and pouring cement the original date of December 6 has now been shifted one day and will happen Friday December 7th, 2018 to construct the station’s platform walls. To facilitate this delivery, concrete trucks will be arriving to site from the west along Eglinton Ave and will stage in the eastbound curb in front of the construction site.

 Due to the inclement weather conditions in the winter months, there may be unforeseen delays. Our teams will attempt to proactively notice any changes, but it is not always possible with the sudden weather changes or other factors that may affect the pour date and time. Safety of the site staff, pedestrians, and motorists are the number one priority.

Hours of work

  • Work is expected to occur on Friday December 7th from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions of unforeseen circumstances.

What to Expect

  • Heavy truck traffic entering and exiting the work zone (approximately every three to four (3-4) minutes).
  • Trucks will be entering and leaving site at the northeast corner of Keele Street and Eglinton Avenue West.
  • In addition to construction activity, residents can expect to see equipment and material storage within designated work zones.

 

Pedestrian Impacts

  • All open sidewalks and crosswalks will be maintained during this work.
