What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Wednesday, August 10, 2022, crews will perform road restoration works on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West between Oriole Parkway and Lascelles Boulevard. To facilitate this work, traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Oriole Parkway and Lascelles Boulevard. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities including asphalt removals, grinding, compacting, and paving can be expected. Expect delays while traveling through the intersections. Upon completion of the work, the lane will reopen.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Wednesday, August 10, 2022, for approximately two (2) weeks
  • This work is expected to take place from Monday – Saturday between 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane in each direction, while this work takes place

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
  • The crosswalk on the west side of the Lascelles-Eglinton intersection will remain closed

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
