What Work is Taking Place?

As early as May 4 and lasting until May 10, crews will be installing underground conduits on Eglinton Ave W at Black Creek Dr for permanent street lighting and traffic signals. To facilitate this work, crews will occupy the westbound right turn lane on Eglinton Ave. Work will begin as early as 7:00 a.m and last until approximately 4:00 p.m.

 

What to Expect

Crews will be installing conduits at Eglinton Ave W at Black Creek Dr. The westbound right turn lane on Eglinton Ave will be occupied. Lighting and noise from construction equipment can be expected.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Work will begin on Tuesday, May 4, and last until Monday, May 10
  • Work will begin as early as 7:00 a.m and last until approximately 4:00 p.m.
  • Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
  • This work may take longer or shorter than expected

 

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • The westbound right turn lane on Eglinton Ave will be occupied.
  • All turns will remain open

 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • The east and north crosswalks at the Eglinton Ave and Black Creek Dr intersection will be closed during this work.
  • There will be no impact to TTC service
