What work is Taking Place?

  • To prepare for future construction of Eglinton Station, crews will be conducting Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations along Eglinton Avenue between Duplex Avenue and Holly Street.
  • Crews will drill bore holes and use a hydro-vacuum truck within the roadway to determine the location of the underground utilities and the ground conditions around the intersection for design purposes.

  • Work is expected to begin September 30th and will take approximately two weeks to complete.
  • Work is permitted between the hours of 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM, 7 days a week.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
  • Work is subject to permits and all relevant approvals, and may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
