Temporary Sidewalk Closure for Utility Works at Forest Hill Station February 14, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday February 14, 2022, crews will perform wet utility installations on the north side of Eglinton Avenue West, west of Bathurst Street. To facilitate this work safely, the north sidewalk between 846 – 856 Eglinton Avenue West will be temporarily closed for approximately one (1) day. Affected businesses and properties have been notified directly.

What to Expect

Noise from construction equipment, including a hydro-vac truck, can be expected. Pedestrian rerouting will be in effect. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

  • Monday February 14, 2022 for approximately one (1) day
  • This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • To facilitate this work safely, the north sidewalk between 846-856 Eglinton Avenue West will be temporarily closed
