What Work is Taking Place?
On July 27, 2020, crews will be performing repairs to an underground hydro chamber near the Eglinton Ave E and Leslie St intersection. To perform these repairs a temporary traffic signal outage will be required. Traffic will be controlled by paid duty officers at the intersection.
Hours of Work
• Work will begin at 8:00 a.m. on July 27, 2020 and continue for a maximum of four (4) hours.
• In the event of inclement weather or unexpected circumstances, this work may be rescheduled.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Crews will be repairing an underground hydro chamber near the Eglinton Ave E and Leslie St intersection.
• A temporary traffic signal outage is required to complete the work,
• Paid duty officers will be onsite to direct traffic for the duration of the outage.
Traffic, Pedestrian and TTC Details
• There will be no changes to the current traffic configuration.
• There will be no new impacts to existing pedestrian routes or TTC stops.
Travelling Smart during Construction
Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
