What Work is Taking Place?
From Saturday, August 27 – Sunday, August 28, 2022, crews at Chaplin Station will install new barriers on the north side of Eglinton Avenue between Chaplin Crescent and Latimer Avenue. To complete this work safely, Eglinton Avenue will be periodically reduced to a single traffic lane, with traffic alternating in each direction. This work is expected to take place between 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
What to Expect
New barriers (wheel stoppers) will be installed on the north side of Eglinton Avenue east of Chaplin Crescent. Periodic lane closures on Eglinton Avenue between Chaplin Crescent and Latimer Avenue. Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Noise from construction activity can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- Saturday, August 27 – Sunday, August 28, 2022, between 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- This work may be rescheduled or delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Periodically, Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to a single traffic lane between Chaplin Crescent and Latimer Avenue
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work
- Short-termrm pedestrian rerouting may be in effect
