Traffic Configuration Change on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive - August 9, 2021

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Tuesday, August 9, 2021, a new traffic configuration will be implemented on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive. This configuration is expected to remain in place for approximately five (5) weeks. One lane of thru traffic in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Black Creek Drive.

What to Expect

Expect delays while travelling through the area.  Noise from construction activities can be expected. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present while the traffic changes are being implemented.  

HOURS OF WORK

• As early as Tuesday August 9, 2021, for approximately five (5) weeks
• Road restoration works are expected to take place from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Work may take longer or shorter than expected
• Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• One lane in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue West. 

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• The crosswalks on the north, west, and east sides of Black Creek Drive and Eglinton will be closed for the duration of this work.

TTC DETAILS

• There will be no TTC impacts as a result of this work.
