TTC Bus Stop Relocation at Bayview Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Monday, December 20, 2021, the TTC bus stop located on the east side of Bayview Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue East, will be relocated north of Craig Crescent to facilitate periodic deliveries at Leaside Station. The TTC stop will be relocated for approximately three (3) months.

Deliveries will take place within the northbound curb lane on Bayview Avenue, north of 660 Eglinton Avenue East (Sunnybrook Plaza). No materials will be stored within this lane. Traffic control personnel will be present while the deliveries take place. Access to properties and driveways will be maintained at all times.

What to Expect

Relocation of the TTC bus stop on the east side of Bayview Avenue to north of Craig Crescent. Noise from construction equipment, including trucks, can be expected. Traffic control personnel will be present during the deliveries. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.  

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Monday, December 20, 2021 for approximately three (3) months. 
  • This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances.  

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • Bayview Avenue will be reduced to one northbound lane, north of 660 Eglinton Avenue East (Sunnybrook Plaza).

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current pedestrian routes are expected as a result of this work.

TRANSIT IMPACTS

  • The TTC bus stop located on the east side of Bayview Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue East, will be relocated north of Craig Crescent 
  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times.
