What Work Is Taking Place?

TTC’s Line 1 subway will be closed between Lawrence and St. Clair stations on Saturday November 28 and Sunday November 29, 2020, while crews perform TTC escalator and platform relocation preparatory works. Construction activities will include delivery of escalator trusses and delivery and installation of reinforcement steel. Work will take place on a 24 hour basis from the evening of Friday November 27 through Sunday November 29, 2020. Berwick Avenue will remain open while this work takes place.

 

What to Expect

There will be noise from construction activity, including trucks. All work zones at Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue will remain in place. Property access will be maintained.

Construction will take place Friday November 27, 2020 through Sunday November 29, 2020

Crews will work 24 hours during the subway closure
