What Work Is Taking Place?

TTC’s Line 1 subway will be closed between Finch and St. Clair stations from Saturday May 28– Sunday May 29, 2022, to faciliate works for the TTC’s Automatic Train Control signal system and the Eglinton Crosstown LRT Project. Construction activities for the Eglinton Crosstown will take place at the platform and concourse levels throughout the day. Berwick Avenue will remain open while this work takes place.

 

What to Expect

Platform extension and mechanical electrical works will take place during the closure. Noise from construction activity, including trucks. All work zones at Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue will remain in place. Property access will be maintained.

 

HOURS OF WORK

  • Saturday, May 28, 2022; between 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, May 29, 2022; between 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • This work may be delayed or rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.

 

TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration and pedestrian routes are expected, as a result of this work.
