What Work is Taking Place?

On Monday October 28, underpinning activities will begin inside of TTC’s Eglinton West Subway Station to support construction of Cedarvale Station. Underpinning is the process of reinforcing an existing structure during construction. Hoarding will be erected around both sides of the bus terminal at Eglinton West Subway Station to delineate patrons from construction, while crews install micropiles to support the station structure. This hoarding will be in place for approximately four (4) months until installation of the micropiles is complete, and a new stage of hoarding is implemented. Hoarding will be in place for the duration of Cedarvale’s underpinning works, which will take place for approximately one (1) year. While the hoarding is in place, space within the bus terminal at Eglinton West Station will be reduced.

Details

  • Monday, October 28, 2019, for approximately four (4) months until February 2020.
  • The hoarding may be in place shorter or longer than expected.
