What Work is Taking Place?

In late November 2018, the Fairbank Station team completed a concrete pour, followed by a traffic change in December, shifting traffic to the east side of Dufferin Street.  Excavation at the Main Entrance is now complete.  Current work includes, utilities work, shallow excavation, and installation of lagging, tie-backs, struts and walers.

As early as January 24, a new traffic configuration will be implemented at Dufferin St and Eglinton Ave, with work zones on the southwest and northeast sides of the intersection.  This configuration is expected to remain in place until April 2019.

  • Work is carried out Monday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
  • Occasional overnight work is required
