What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Friday, August 26, 2022, a new pedestrian route will be implemented on the north side of Eglinton Avenue between Gilgorm Road and Latimer Avenue to accommodate sidewalk construction. Pedestrians will be rerouted south around the work zone (refer to map). This configuration will remain in place for approximately two (2) weeks.

What to Expect

Temporary pedestrian rerouting on the north side of Eglinton Avenue. Noise from construction activities including chipping, hammering, saw cutting and concrete pours can be expected. Fencing and signage will be in place to delineate work zones. Expect delays while travelling through the intersection.

HOURS OF WORK

  • As early as Friday, August 26, 2022, for approximately two (2) weeks
  • This work may be delayed due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

  • No changes to the current traffic configuration are expected as a result of this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS 

  • Pedestrian rerouting will be in place on the north side of Eglinton Avenue between Gilgorm Road and Latimer Avenue
  • Pedestrians will be rerouted south around the work zone (refer to map)

  • Access to TTC will be maintained at all times
