Final Road Restoration - Eglinton Avenue East from DVP Ramps to Sloane/Bermondsey
What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Friday, November 12 to Saturday, November 13, 2021, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., crews will perform road restoration works on Eglinton Avenue East between the east DVP Ramps and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Rd. To accommodate this work, traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected between the east DVP Ramps and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Rd. Outside of these hours, road operations will continue normally. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Eglinton Avenue East.
What to Expect
Noise from construction activity including trucks, asphalt removals, paving, and compacting. Traffic control personnel and/or a Paid Duty Officer will be present, while this work takes place.
HOURS OF WORK
- Friday, November 12, 8:00 p.m. to Saturday, November 13, 6:00 a.m.
- Work may be longer or shorter than expected
- Work may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Restoration of westbound lanes: Traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue East north of the guideway will be closed between the east DVP Ramps and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Rd. Westbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected south, with a crossover at the east DVP Ramps and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Rd.
- Restoration of eastbound lanes: Traffic lanes on Eglinton Avenue East south of the guideway will be closed between the east DVP Ramps and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Rd. Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue East will be redirected north, with a crossover at the east DVP Ramps and Sloane Ave/Bermondsey Rd.
- Access to Wynford, Swift and Credit Union Drives from Eglinton Avenue East will be restricted for the duration of this work.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- There will be no changes to pedestrian routes
TTC INFORMATION
- TTC stops located within closed lanes of Eglinton Avenue East will be temporarily closed for the duration of the lane closures.
