What work is taking place?

As early as Monday, January 27, crews at Chaplin station will be working in the station’s future Main Entrance to install temporary power lines. Work will be ongoing from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday. Work involves the use of an excavator, concrete works, and the use of machinery for temporary power installation. Work does not involve heavy vibrations or noise. From 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., crews will be using a hydrovac. Noise can be expected.

Temporary Driveway Restrictions at Mount Pleasant Station - Tuesday, January 28, 2020


What Work is Taking Place?

On Tuesday, January 28, 2020, crews will perform geotechnical monitoring work to support the construction of Mount Pleasant Station. As part of this work, crews will need to stage a hydro-vac truck in front of the driveway on the west side of Mount Pleasant Road, north of Eglinton Avenue East.

In order to safely and promptly carry out this work, there will be temporary driveway access restrictions as geotechnical monitoring installation takes place.  Read more »

Road Closures for Overnight Concrete Pour at Chaplin Station Friday January 24 – Saturday January 25, 2020

What Work is Taking Place? 

On Friday January 24, 2020, Eglinton Avenue West will be closed from Spadina Road to Russell Hill Road beginning at 11:00 p.m., overnight for approximately 12 hours while crews will perform a large concrete pour.  The concrete will form the final part of the roof of Chaplin Station.  Concrete pumps will be placed throughout the intersection and several concrete trucks will enter and exit the work zone each hour.    Read more »
