TEMPORARY TRAFFIC SIGNAL OUTAGE

What Work is Taking Place?
On July 27, 2020, crews will be performing repairs to an underground hydro chamber near the Eglinton Ave E and Leslie St intersection. To perform these repairs a temporary traffic signal outage will be required. Traffic will be controlled by paid duty officers at the intersection.
Hours of Work
• Work will begin at 8:00 a.m. on July 27, 2020 and continue for a maximum of four (4) hours. 
• In the event of inclement weather or unexpected circumstances, this work may be rescheduled. Read more »

Upcoming Concrete Pour at Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East - Thursday July 23, 2020

 

What Work is Taking Place?

As early as Thursday July 23, 2020, crews at Mount Pleasant Station will perform a concrete pour within the work zone of the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of Mount Pleasant Road. The concrete will form one of the permanent station structures underground. To ensure the integrity and continuity of the pour, work will begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and take approximately twelve (12) hours to complete. Read more »

Sidewalk, Curb and Roadworks Construction

 

What Work is Taking Place?
As part of construction of the future surface alignment for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT, crews will be constructing new sidewalks and curbs and performing final roadworks on the north side of Eglinton Avenue East, west of Swift Drive. Work is expected to begin as early as July 20, 2020 and last for a period of three (3) weeks.
