UPDATED: Road Restoration Work at Oakwood Station - November 4 and November 7 - 8, 2022

What Work is Taking Place?

On Friday, November 4, Monday, November 7,  and Tuesday November 8, 2022, crews at Oakwood Station will perform road restoration works in the center of Eglinton Avenue, east and west of Oakwood Avenue. To facilitate this work safely, Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction. The northbound left turn from Oakwood Avenue onto Eglinton Avenue will be restricted during this work. The crosswalk on the west side of the intersection will be closed while this work takes place This work is expected to take place between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

What to Expect

Noise from construction activities, including grinding and paving, can be expected. A Paid Duty Officer will be present while this work takes place.  Expect delays while traveling through the intersection. Advance signage will be in place for pedestrians

• Friday, November 4, Monday, November 7 - 8, 2022; between 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• This work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances

TRAFFIC DETAILS

• Eglinton Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction
• The northbound left turn from Oakwood Avenue onto Eglinton Avenue will be restricted during this work

PEDESTRIAN DETAILS

• The north-south crosswalk on the west side of the intersection will be closed while this work takes place
