What work is taking place?

  • As part of the preparatory works for the future Cedarvale Station, pipe investigations of the existing storm and sanitary systems will be conducted in the vicinity of Eglinton Avenue West,  Allen Road, Everden Road and Cedarvale Park
  • Crews will enter existing manholes along the roadways/park areas  and use cameras to observe the condition of sanitary and storm lines
  • While all attempts will be made to limit noise, residents should expect some sound from construction vehicles

When:

  • The work will take place over a period of five days, beginning as early as April 18, 2016
  • The work on the roadways will take place overnight, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m

Where:

  • Crews will be present along Eglinton Avenue West between Park Hill Road and Allen Road Northbound, at Allen Road Southbound (50 m north of Eglinton Avenue West), at Everden Road (70 m south of Eglinton Avenue West) and in the Cedarvale Park area

Traffic Details:

  • Temporary lane closures along Eglinton Avenue West  between Allen Road North and Park Hill Road are expected at night time
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained
  • Paid duty officer will be onsite for traffic control
  • As always, take care when travelling through construction sites
