Update: Weekend Road Closures at Chaplin Station - Extended

June 7 – 10, 2019

In May 2019, crews conducted four closures of Chaplin Crescent between Eglinton Avenue and the Chaplin Crescent-Russell Hill Road laneway to complete pile installation.  A fifth closure is required to complete the remaining pile installation work.  Due to the location of the piles, in the middle of the intersection, a road closure is required.  Eglinton Avenue will remain open, but will be reduced to one lane only, alternating traffic in each direction. To minimize the duration of each closure, some overnight work within the closure may be required.  Please read ‘What to Expect’ below.

Once pile installation in the intersection is complete, crews will begin temporary traffic bridge installation work.  Additional road closures will be required in June 2019 while this work takes place.  Details to be provided in a subsequent notice.
