What Work is Taking Place?

To prepare for future construction of Eglinton Station, crews will be decommissioning monitoring wells along Eglinton Avenue between Duplex Avenue and Cowbell Lane.

  • Work is expected to begin mid-November 2016 and will take approximately two to three days to complete.
  • The work is expected to occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., up to seven (7) days a week. Permitted hours are until 11:00 p.m.
  • The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours, but may do so at its discretion.
  • Work is subject to permits and all relevant approvals, and may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Intermittent lane occupations or closures will be in effect.

What to Expect

  • Intermittent lane occupations or closures will be in effect.
  • Nearby residents and businesses can expect to see heavy trucks and equipment in the area as crews move from one location to the next.
  • While this work is underway, nearby residents and businesses can expect to hear some noise related to the use to a saw cutter, vacuum truck, drill, and other construction equipment.
  • As always, please take care when travelling near work sites.

The construction set-up will shift often.

Please look for posted signage as you travel through the area.
