What Work is Taking Place?
As early as Thursday December 9, 2021, crews will be preforming sidewalk and road restoration work on the south side of Eglinton Avenue West between Weston Road and Keelesdale Road. To facilitate this work safely, eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane between Weston Road and Keelesdale Road. All other traffic configurations will remain in place. This work is expected to take place between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for approximately two (2) weeks.
What to Expect
Expect delays while travelling through the area. Noise from construction activities, including concrete breaking and trucks, can be expected.
HOURS OF WORK
- As early as Thursday December 9, 2021, for approximately two (2) weeks.
- This work is expected to take place weekdays between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Work may take longer or shorter than expected.
- Work may be rescheduled due to inclement weather and/or unforeseen circumstance.
TRAFFIC DETAILS
- Eastbound traffic on Eglinton Avenue West will be reduced to one lane between Weston Rad and Keelesdale Road.
- All other traffic configurations will remain in place.
PEDESTRIAN DETAILS
- The north-south crosswalk on the east side of Weston Road and Eglinton Avenue West will be reinstated for the duration of this work.
- Pedestrians will be safely rerouted around the construction zone while this work takes place.
TRANSIT INFORMATION
- All TTC bus stops will remain in their current locations.
