What Work is Taking Place?
In late 2016, a portion of the western frontage of Eglinton Park was fenced off to accommodate construction staging. Through consultations with the public and local elected officials, a reduced portion of the Eglinton Park was approved for temporary use during the construction of the Eglinton Crosstown.
As previously presented and advised in 2016, tree removals are required in the designated portion of Eglinton Park. Fencing has been erected around the designated lands in the park as well as tree protection around the appropriate designated trees. Tree protection has been approved by the required parties and the permit has been received. Tree removals will take place between March 13th and March 31st, 2017.
Please take care when travelling near construction.
